4) Create an entire town/theme/diorama with which you can then build your track around.

5) Create scenes or dioramas to fit specific size requirements.

NON-TRAIN DIORAMAS AND SCENES

1) Scenes/dioramas created within boxes/containers (yours or mine.) These dioramas can be as complex and ornate as you desire including complete customization of the exterior.

2) Free standing art dioramas.

3) Miniatures in 1:144 and 1:48 scale.

4) Historic recreations and prototype work from the Revolutionary War through the 1950's.)

More details:
**LIGHTS--Your layout or diorama can be lit--dramatically or with subtlety. I work with typical dollhouse lighting components rather than model train components. They can then run on your accessories connection with your train transformer or a separate dollhouse transformer.
I can also use battery operated lights including black lights, moving lights etc.

**MURALS/BACKDROPS
I offer hand painted backdrops that are created to enhance the scene/layout and truly become their own little works of art. Examples can be seen on the Layout pages.

***CUSTOM EXTERIORS--ATTACHES
SOME attache layouts can be customized on the exterior. View the Lago Layout for a custom case example. Aluminum attaches are NOT customizable. The attache or case must be vinyl/leather or wood.

PRICING:

I am not cheap :) I am also far from the most expensive.
I do not charge per building, I do not charge per hour. I charge a structured amount based on the size/complexity and extras desired.

LAYOUT PRICING:
My custom attache layouts range from $2,000 (19 inch client supplied attache without lights, without mural, without exterior customization)
--to--
$4,500 (for 39 inch client supplied attache layout with lights, mural and exterior customization.)
I CAN purchase the attache for you and you will be charged ONLY what I pay for it. Ebay often offers some great deals!

NON-ATTACHE LAYOUT PRICING:
Pricing begins at 2,500 for client supplied layout boards.
Pricing begins at 2,500 for layouts that I lay track for and create from the bottom up.


I do not take every project or job offer. This work is as much art to me as railroad construction and so relies intensely on inspiration.
If I am not inspired--I cannot create it. My shortcoming, no doubt.

**If it is something up my alley I will work up a simple plan with notes and send it for you to look at.
**Upon your approval I will submit a written estimate/invoice highlighting all costs, time of completion etc.
**1/2 of the total price is due upon approval of the estimate. Depending on the cost and size of the project the remainder is due either at completion (small projects) or in 2 installments--1 installment due at a certain stage and the final due at completion.

I do NOT book projects in advance.
